Mt.Kurakake

It was named Kurakakeyama because it straddles Komatsu City and Kaga City in Ishikawa Prefecture and looks like a saddle is hanging over it. At 477.7 meters high, at the foot of this small mountain there is the town of Takigahara,

with 170 people living in the area.
Thinking that Mt. Kurakake was only found here, I was surprised to learn that there are 21 similarly shaped mountains with the same name throughout Japan. They may look different, but just as there are people with the same name somewhere on earth, there are also mountains with the same name.
I have continued to shoot the view of Mt. Kurakake from the window of the room I lived in for seven years. Even though the name is the same, Mt. Kuurakake never looks the same every day, in the spring, the summer, the fall, and the winter. Thank you for always being there.
