M-45

The M-45 was made in the U.S. in 1945 at the end of World War II and was the original mod coat.
Cotton satin fabric with resin buttons, Talon zips, and a removable alpaca liner. Keeps you warm even in the middle of winter.
I got it 10 years ago. I have taken it to deserts, snowy mountains, and many other places around the world,

and have continued to wear it while making repairs.
If I apply a patch of fabric to a torn part and do some stitching, it looks even cooler than before.

In this way, embroidery, patches, and ornaments were gradually added, and after 80 years,

one jacket that was once mass-produced has become a mass of love.

Rather than buying something new, I became fascinated by the idea of remaking something old to fix it and get a new sense of it.
I only need what I really want to keep wearing.

I believe that ethical fashion is not only about buying things that are good for the environment,

but also about fixing what you already have and nurturing your love for it.
